TESTAMENTARY TRUST
The State Bank
of Ashland Trust Department will administer the trust based upon the guidelines
and objectives established by the trust document. Trust Department services
provided include investment selection, portfolio review, recording receipts
and disbursements and distributions to beneficiaries.
CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUSTS
The State Bank
of Ashland Trust Department will administer the trust based upon guidelines
and objectives established by the trust document. Trust Department services
include asset management, investment selection, recording receipts and
disbursements and distributions to the beneficiaries.
LIVING TRUSTS
The State Bank
of Ashland administers revocable or irrevocable trusts based upon the guidelines
established by the trust document. Trust Department services provided include
investment selection, portfolio review, recording receipts and disbursements,
paying expenses and collecting and distributing income.
FARM MANAGEMENT
The State Bank of Ashland Farm Management services include the selection of the farm tenant, administering leases and extensions, recording of income and payment of expenses. Other services include crop planning, coordination of seed, fertilizer and chemical selection, marketing, crop insurance and farmstead maintenance.
Farm operations
involving livestock production are also administered.
CONSERVATOR / GUARDIAN
The State Bank of Ashland reserves the right of acceptance of Conservatorship or Guardian upon appointment by the Court to manage the estate of the person.

The State Bank of Ashland Trust Department's duties are locating and assembling
the assets, protecting those assets, managing the assets, utilizing the
income and principal for the benefit of the protected person and accounting
for all transactions in administration of the guardianship.
EXECUTOR / ADMINSTRATOR OF ESTATES
The State Bank
of Ashland Trust Department provides the assurance of an independent executor
/ administrator for the estate. As corporate executor, the State Bank of
Ashland will collect and inventory assets, pay debts, manage the estate,
pay taxes and distribute assets.
MANAGING AGENCY
The State Bank of Ashland Trust Department Agency Services includes bill payment, recording of income receipt, tracking of maturing assets, and portfolio management.
This service
can provide peace of mind that your financial affairs are being addressed.
Monthly or quarterly statements can be provided to keep you informed of
your current financial situation.
INSURANCE TRUSTS
We can administer
insurance trusts in which the insured person initiates and determines the
Insurance Company providing the insurance policy.
SELF-DIRECTED INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS
We offer both regular and ROTH Individual Retirement Accounts. The self-directed retirement account allows diversification of the investments in one IRA account. Acceptable investments include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, government securities and institutional deposit instruments (certificate of deposit, savings account and money market accounts.)
LAND TRUSTS
This department
holds title to properties conveyed to the land trust. Under this arrangement
the beneficiaries maintain complete management and control of the property.
The beneficiaries collect rent, improve and operate the property, and exercise
all rights of ownership other than holding title or dealing with the legal
title.
ESCROW AGENT
The State Bank of Ashland will act as escrow agent in contract for deed real estate sales. Under this agreement the bank may either only hold the legal documents until fulfillment of the contract or may collect payments and disburse funds to the seller.
